The Lynn Woods Rose Garden was completely restored to its former beauty and reopened this summer. At one point, the garden had no more roses because the deer had eaten them all.
Thanks to funding from the Friends of Lynn Woods, the Rose Garden Committee was able to purchase new plants, and more than 30 volunteers worked to bring this beloved garden back to life.
I know I’ll be returning often. The garden will only become more beautiful over the years as the plants mature and fill in. I’m already planning a series of watercolors inspired by this wonderful corner of my town.
